Grant Makers in Aging - "An inclusive and responsive membership organization comprised of all types of philanthropies with a common dedication to improving the experience of aging."

US Department of Health & Humans Services - This site has links to all types of information including Laws & Regulations as well as Grants, Programs and Services.

Children Focused Information

Child Welfare Information Gateway - This link will take you to a cite where you can search State Statutes in an online database. You are able to find population information and so much more. The cite's purpose "protecting children and strengthening families."

Census Data on Children - "All Census Bureau demographic surveys collect information about children. The information collected varies."

National Center for Education Statistics - Common Core of Data. "State Nonfiscal data reports include state totals for students (totals and by race/ethnicity), graduates, and staff counts."

National Center for Education Statistics - Search for Public Schools. Look for any public school in the United States and their statistics.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation - "Building a Brighter Future for Children, Families and Communities. Practice and policy experts work with public systems to improve outcomes for children involved with child welfare systems." The information found here will help when look at numbers based on recent census data. It will also help you, for example, find out how many kids in Roscommon County between ages 0-17 live in poverty. There are multiple ways to search and use this resource.

Women's Health through the CDC - Site that helps with finding data regarding women's health initiatives, healthy living, leading causes of death and women's health and the CDC.

2-1-1.org - "2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that helps connect people across the US and in many parts of Canada find the local resources they need. We're here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." Find links for crisis and emergency help; health; food; disaster and emergency assistance; housing and utilities and so much more. "Help Starts Here."

Zonta Club of Roscommon - "Zonta International seeks to advance the status of women worldwide by improving the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local levels through service and advocacy." Scholarships available.

Ladies Who Launch - "Our mission is to celebrate and empower women entrepreneurs on Main Street versus Wall Street. We're taking the movement on the road to foster conversations within local communities so women business owners have the connections to support each other as they follow their passions and launch their businesses."
