OFF-CAMPUS
If you are a Kirtland student enrolled in a course that meets online or at a location other than Grayling, contact the Library (by telephone or email) and we will be happy to arrange delivery of library items.
How do I return borrowed items?
You can return borrowed items through the mail (you pay postage) to the Library. If you are near M-TEC in Gaylord, you may return items to the M-TEC office, and the items will be returned to the Library in Grayling within a few days.
ON-CAMPUS
If you are a Kirtland student enrolled in a course that meets in Grayling, stop in and pick up your materials.
Your initial student ID is issued free of charge, but you do need your driver's license or state ID. You can get your student ID immediately at the Student Services Office in Grayling. If you are closer to Roscommon, you can get your photo taken at Public Safety in Roscommon. They will submit your photo to the Student Services Office, and your ID will be mailed to you.
We can't guarantee how long it will take the U.S. Mail to deliver your item. If you want the materials ASAP, the quickest way to get them is to contact the Library to make sure of the item's availability and then go to that location to check it out.
We can also arrange to have materials delivered to the M-TEC in Gaylord - You may be asked to show a current photo ID to pick up item.

FALL/WINTER
Currently enrolled Kirtland students can receive tutoring, and there is no charge. Besides the Writing Center, OWL (Online Writing Lab) and the Virtual Writing Center, which are great ways to get the writing help you need, you can also come to the Library for our Drop-In Math tutoring or to sign up for individual tutoring.
There’s no appointment needed for math help in the Drop-In Math Lab, which is located in the Library.
In addition to the Writing Center and Drop-In Math, Kirtland’s tutoring program strives to provide assistance in most subjects. See the tutoring page or contact the Tutoring Center in the Library for more information about tutoring services.
SUMMER
Contact the Tutoring Center in the Library for information about summer tutoring services.
