If you are not teaching on campus in Grayling, you can still check out items from the Library. Call or email the Library for more information. We deliver to M-TEC, Roscommon or to you via the USPS. The librarians and staff are here to help you.

We have resources for students such as the Citation Boot Camp. Students who commit plagiarism can be referred to the Plagiarism Traffic School. To better understand the distinction between writing referrals and academic misconduct referrals and for more information about plagiarism, see the plagiarism libguide.

Course Support From the Library

Partner with a Librarian

Some students may be skilled researchers, but many need a refresher - even faculty may appreciate a library update! Level the playing field for your students when they begin their projects by requesting a research skills review lesson.  Contact the library to discuss areas of focus and to schedule a time.

Another way to partner with a librarian is through our embedded librarian service by having the Library offer assistance to you and your students through a library module embedded within Canvas.  The customizable module could contain the following:

  • a guide custom designed for your project or subject area
  • module pages with links to our library resources and services
  • resources added on the fly at your request

The embedded librarian service is available to support your students in their research assignments.  Contact the library if you would like the library embedded in your course(s).

Watch the following video for a brief overview of the Embedded Librarian service. (2:45)
