You will want to have your source information (book, article, database page, etc.) available to look at and use to create your source citation.
Click on the title of your project to open it.
Then, click on the green New Source button on the top right corner.
You will answer two questions about the source you're adding: Where is it? and What is it?
Once you choose your source type, a form will appear that will guide you.
Enter as much information and as many details as you have available for your source.

If you need help understanding what to put in a field, click on the field and then the blue information icon that appears. You will be able to view a helpful tip that may clarify what is needed for that field.
NoodleTools checks for errors while you enter information. It will create a yellow warning popup with suggestions of how to fix the issue. Correct the issue in the box before moving on. Note: NoodleTools does not automatically fix these errors, or check for spelling errors in your work.
Click the blue Save button at the top of the page when you are done adding your source information. This source will now appear in the project, and you can repeat as necessary with your other sources.
