Exam Week Study Tips

The Day of the Exam

  • Eat a good breakfast
  • Get to school early and warm up your brain with a quick review
  • Make sure you have everything you’ll need for the test
  • Read all the instructions before beginning the test
  • Go through and answer all the questions you know for certain - save time for the hard stuff
  • If you’re stuck, circle the question and come back later - sometimes the answer shows up in another question
  • Neatness counts - fill in the spaces carefully
  • Go back and check your answers to make sure you didn’t leave anything blank or skip any questions
  • Use all the time you’re given – there are no bonus points for finishing first!
